When I get my credential I would like to teach in a 2nd, 3rd or 4th grade classroom… basically elementary school. I thought in this post I'd talk about certain ways that as an elementary teacher we could use technology in our classroom. Technology has a very important role in the classroom today and can be used to teach important concepts in almost every subject.

They should be combined with traditional teaching methods and lessons to make lessons comprehensive, engaging and interactive. Everything that you have stated in your post is a wonderful tool to use in the classroom. I think it is very important to stay up to date with new technology because we can in a world where technology is a huge resource that is making an imprint in our society. And it is the job of the teachers to be able to interest their students in school and this means finding new ways to implement the things they are interested out of the classroom into the classroom.
ReplyDeleteAs I said in class, you will need to negotiate among theory, students, and the afforances and limitations of technology. These technology tools seem to have great potential for your future teaching, but you'll need to see what really works for your particular students with particular learning needs.
